Your Therapist
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Dana Wierzbicki, and I am joyful, creative, and passionate speech-language pathologist dedicated to providing evaluations and therapy of the highest quality! I am especially passionate about helping people who stutter speak with freedom and confidence so that they can communicate with joy and live the life they have always imagined!
Here’s a little more on my background: I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and a minor in Psychology. I continued my graduate studies at UH and earned my Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2011. I was also awarded the Outstanding Graduate COMD Student award.
I am always learning to better serve my clients. I believe in thorough evaluations to get to the root of a problem, which results in the most efficient and effective therapy. I am a member of the Houston Association for Communication Disorders (HACD). I have also received five Awards for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, indicating that I have earned over 350 hours of continuing education. I want to share what I learn through my coursework and experience, and I am excited to have started speaking engagements this year!
Most of all, you should know that I care deeply about my clients. It is an honor and privilege to partner with you as you work towards your goals and dreams. If I don’t know an answer to a question or how to do something, I will do my utmost to find it or learn how to do it. I am dedicated, determined, and resourceful, and I am excited to serve you!
