Time to get started: Up to 45 days
How to qualify: a medically diagnosed condition that is likely to cause a developmental delay, an auditory or visual impairment, or a developmental delay of at least 25 percent in one or more areas of development
Therapy format: Individual sessions in home or at school, 1-2x/week but often less as availability may be limited
Schools:
Who can receive services? 3 years - 21 years
Time to get started: A few months
How to qualify: Meet state eligibility requirements
Therapy format: Individual or group (group sessions are common), at school, usually 1-2x/week
Traditional clinic or private practice:
Who can receive services? Any age
Time to get started: A few weeks
How to qualify: Meet insurance eligibility requirements
Therapy format: Individual sessions in the office, 1-2x/week
Concierge private practice: Infinite Horizon Speech and Language Services
Who can receive services? 0-64 years
Time to get started: 1-2 weeks
How to qualify: The client demonstrates a fluency disorder as measured via testing
Therapy format: Individual; teletherapy or home visit; between-session email support, 1-2x/week
